ORIGINS 

The Esquadra Del Hierro clan was founded in August 2006 by Hasharin, WarWolf and Sombra. We also consider Melandri to be a founder as he was the first member to join E.d.H shortly after its creation. The clan started during an uncertain time in DXMP's history. There were a large number of players who cheated and tried to bring the game down but instead of surrendering to them, we fought on and won the battle! Initially, WarWolf wanted the clan to be for Spanish players only. After many discussions it was obvious that we had many friends who weren't Spanish but wanted to join, therefore E.d.H became an International clan.


  E.d.H 2 

We formed "E.d.H2" as a secondary squad of the clan; E.d.H was solely for the founders and "E.d.H2" consisted of all other members. We realised that this would give the impression of E.d.H being elitest and unfriendly so combined both squads into the original E.d.H name.

  SERVER 

The majority of servers available in DXMP at the time were using the DXMTL Anti-cheat modification. Although this offered numerous benefits to the community it did have an unfortunate side-effect: many players with different versions of Deus Ex (different localisations: Italian, French, Spanish and others) were unable to join them. Our mission was to provide a classic Deus Ex Multiplayer server for everyone to join. This was not, however, an easy task as we had to pay the consequences of not having any anti-cheat system enabled. Cheaters, impersonators and other less desirable people invaded our server and started to cause many problems including crashing it, cheating and doing what they wanted without any consideration of others. We knew what we needed to do and started making tough Administrator choices to ensure that only trustworthy players were enjoying the server. After a while most of the less desirable players realised that their battle had been lost and left the game, while others decided to play fairly and not cheat. This was not, however, an easy task as we had to SUFFER the consequences of not having any anti-cheat system enabled.



  ALLIES

In order to strengthen the DXMP community We formed alliances with a number of other clans. Our first alliance was formed with DIOS and then RTK, both of which are considered to be our most important. We take pride in having a good relationship with every Deus Ex clan and this is why we have alliances with a large number of them.

     THE WAR THAT NEVER ENDS   

At the beginning of the E.d.H empire our server suffered from thousands of attacks, bugs, cheats and hacks. This was not just occurring on our DXMP server but our members too were being threatened and hacked by other DXMP players. Our driving force is one of goodness. We will never stop helping people and will never stop fighting for our game and members.
